San Francisco, CA — August 10, 2024 — The 39th Annual Miss Asian Global Pageant, held at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco, honored a distinguished group of delegates for their exceptional talents, intelligence, and cultural contributions.

Raine Xiong made history as the first Hmong American to be crowned Miss Asian Global, the evening’s highest honor. Raine, who is currently studying at Stanford University, exemplifies the dedication and excellence celebrated by the pageant.

Tong Yu was awarded Miss Asian Global 1st Princess, Miss Asian California, and Miss Imagine Talks. Qian Liu earned the titles of Miss Asian Global 2nd Princess and Miss Asian Scholastic. Yashi Gondwal was recognized as Miss Asian Global 3rd Princess, and Sona Kim was named Miss Asian Global 4th Princess and Miss Asian San Francisco, in addition to receiving a Miss Imagine Talks award.

Jacquelyn Tang took home the title of Miss Asian Teen, and Katherine Vandermel was awarded Miss Asian Talent. Caitlin Neil was honored as Miss Asian Best in Cultural Attire, while Amber Vo earned the title of Miss Asian Congeniality. Caitlyn Vergara was named Miss Asian Photogenic.

Rebecca Wang received dual recognition as Miss Asian S.T.E.M and Miss Imagine Talks. Keana Rivera was awarded Miss Asian Community Service, and Elise Zeng was recognized as Miss Asian Entrepreneur and Miss Imagine Talks. Additional Miss Imagine Talks awards went to Terri Lin and May Hu.

Hannah Chea was voted Miss Asian Popularity, and Eliana Horn was named Love Is The Cure Ambassador.

The Miss Asian Global Pageant continues to serve as a platform that highlights the accomplishments and potential of these outstanding young women, reaffirming the importance of diversity and excellence in our community.
