San Francisco, CA — On August 5, 2006 — The 21st Annual Miss Asian America Pageant illuminated the historic Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, celebrating Asian beauty, culture, and talent. The event was a captivating display of grace and cultural pride, featuring 19 exceptional young women. Jennifer Field, a 24-year-old hailing from San Jose, California, emerged as the winner, earning the titles of Miss Asian America and Miss Talent. Her Korean and English-Irish-German heritage blends reflects the modern diversity we celebrate.
Joining her court were Jessica Feng, crowned First Princess and Miss Asian California; Katie Au, who secured the titles of Second Princess; Monica You, named Third Princess; Claire Yuan, celebrated as Miss Asian San Francisco; Stephanie Quan Lee, honored as Miss Photogenic; Jade Haunani Nacua-Monfils, recognized for Miss Scholastic Achievement; Jessie Nguyen, awarded Miss Congeniality; and Alyssa Xuan Phan, applauded for Miss Community Service.
Representing diverse Asian heritages, these young women illuminated the stage with their unique strengths, embodying unity in diversity. The Miss Asian America Pageant continues its legacy of empowering Asian American women and promoting cultural awareness.
After her reign, Jennifer pursued studies in Theater Arts and Philosophy at Santa Clara University. Her acting journey took her to Los Angeles, where she made a career in commercials, television, and film. Notably, she portrayed Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Arden on ABC’s “General Hospital.”
Jennifer’s impressive credits include award-winning series like “Artificial” and “The Old Man.” She also left an indelible mark on the groundbreaking reality show “K-Town.” Beyond her career, she treasures moments with loved ones and is an avid explorer of national parks.
Jennifer Field stands as a beacon of inspiration for her accomplishments and warm-hearted approach to life. We’re proud to have her as part of our pageant legacy, and we look forward to her future successes.
